What Our Clients Say

Over the past few years. I am always really happy with the service that I get from all the friendly staff. I do like having a physio in the city as its more convenient to go during work hours than try and rush back afterwards.

I've seen Kathryn on two separate occasions. Once for lower back pain issues, and the other for a hamstring injury. Kathryn was always very thorough, knowledgeable, and realistic. With both issues, there was ample consultation, treatment, and a list of things to do at home to help strengthen, manage, and resolve my key concerns.

About Us

Not all physios are the same and if you’re looking for a physiotherapist in the Melbourne city who will get you results you’ve come to the right place.

Our philosophy is simple – all our appointments are at least 30 minutes in duration and you spend 100% of your time with your physiotherapist.

We will not only treat your pain, we will work hard to diagnose the cause behind your injury in order to give you a long-term solution, through the many modes of treatment we have, such as real-time ultrasound, manipulation, massage, Pilates, biomechanical analysis and functional rehabilitation.

Viva Physiotherapy’s Melbourne CBD location, which is a 2 minute walk from Flinders Street Station and has links to the 19, 31, 57, 59, 86, 96 and 109 tram routes is convenient for people coming from all parts of Melbourne.

We provide physiotherapy for a variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, pregnancy conditions, RSI, torn muscles and sprained joints (such as ankles). We also have a specialised Pilates and sports rehabilitation studio which we use to look at biomechanical problems (eg running and overuse injuries) and treat injuries with core and glut strengthening.

In the way of technology, we use our iPad to show you a picture of your injury on our specialised anatomy program, as well as an app for assessing movements such as running. We also have a real-time ultrasound to look at your core muscles and give you advice on how to train them!
