I WANT TO
FEEL MY BEST

It’s a common misconception that you only need to see physio when you get injured. Anyone who wants to move better and feel better can definitely benefit from physiotherapy.

You might be training for a particular sport or exercise event, dealing with a persistent niggle at work, playing regular sport with friends, or just wanting to improve how you are feeling and moving in your day to day life.

By taking a holistic approach and accounting for a range of factors like your movement patterns and lifestyle habits we can create a well rounded plan to get you feeling better.

RELIEVE

The Relieve phase is usually about pain relief. If you have a recurring niggle or muscle twinge, we can help get the pain under control with intervention such as hands-on treatment or dry needling. But if you’re just looking to build resilience and good technique, we usually skip through to the Restore phase.

RESTORE

Restore is crucial. It’s where we examine your biomechanics to find out where you’re going wrong. We can train your body to keep its form through progressive load, and spend some time understanding the way your body responds to different types of training.

PERFORM

Once we’ve got your movement patterns looking sharp, we can increase the workload and really start building long-term fitness. Occasionally that old niggle might flair up, and we’ll move back to Relieve or Restore, but usually this stage is about hitting your strength goals and trying different techniques: plyometric work, conditioning and sports-specific training.

WE'RE HERE TO HELP

Carlee

It can be difficult to identify why you’re not feeling your best when there isn’t an obvious injury. Carlee will work with you to understand your goals and do a thorough assessment to pinpoint why you’re not achieving them. Beginning with hands-on techniques she will restore function to the nerves, muscle and connective tissues in the body to improve mobility and activation of your whole system. This will enable you to move without limitations and train more effectively.

Carlee loves introducing people to alternative training techniques such as yoga, ideokinesis, dance and functional movement to compliment evidence-based training to fine-tune and retrain dysfunctional movement patterns to get you feeling your best and better!
