You’re not alone and there is something you can do about it! We’re here to help you to improve your running, without running.

We see a lot of runners at Viva, many in training, and even more so with niggling injuries. We know a thing or two about running and quite a few of our team are keen runners themselves.

The act of running involves more than what meets the eye. It is a high impact, whole-body workout that requires not only cardio-respiratory fitness but also strength and endurance of your muscles to perform safely and effectively.

WHERE DO I START?

The best place to start is by booking a Running Assessment appointment with a physio.
In this one hour consult we’ll assess your running style, injury history and your body via
a series of physio tests using state-of-the-art technology. Then we can create a personalised
program to meet your running and fitness goals.

Injury Assessment

A detailed assessment if you've sustained an injury while running or an injury that prevents you from running. With a continued focus to relieve, restore, and perform.

Running Assessment

In this one hour consultation we’ll assess your running style, injury history and your body via a series of physio tests using state-of-the-art technology. Then we can create a personalised program to meet your running and fitness goals.

Personalised Program

A tailored running or strength program will be designed to help you achieve your specific goals. The program is also a great way to touch base with your physiotherapist, progress your program, and structure goals to improve your performance.

Deep Tissue Work

To prepare, maintain and promote recovery. This may include deep tissue massage, trigger point release, assisted stretching and dry needling to keep your running performance at its optimum.

Group Strength Training

Circuit group session formulated to specifically work on the muscle groups that will help to improve your strength, endurance and technique for running.

Group Running Session

Our Viva Outdoor running group is a physio guiding running session focused on different aspects of running better - technique, speed, hills, and endurance.
